The house

A beautiful staircase by Benjamin Gomez is the entrance point to this private mansion. Everything has been carefully designed, particularly the unique light fixtures, to highlight the uniqueness of this house.

The kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of our home. It is where we chop, mix, season, roll, sprinkle, bake, bake and plate up. It is where we try out recipes. It is where we share moments. It is where we enjoy our food.

We have designed this space for those precious moments in life. A magnificent BULTHAUP kitchen and a dining room with a lace-patterned brick table are arranged around a superb mosaic whale created by GARANCE, evoking the connection between Biarritz and this magnificent cetacean.

In memory of the house’s precious past, one wall features two arches with shelves designed to hold the house’s silverware and groceries. A plan from 1922 shows that an entire room was dedicated to this magnificent tableware, inviting us to revive the refinement of the art of dining.

Bathed in light, it is an ideal place to have breakfast or enjoy a casual meal. The blue-toned floor, created by unique cement tiles, gives you the impression of already being at the seaside.

The living rooms

The lounges offer three unique atmospheres for you to relax and enjoy the house.

The first reveals the Basque soul through a magnificent painting by Pablo Elizaga. It allows you to organise cosy meals around a huge family table. Light floods in from all sides, bathing the room in warmth.

It opens onto a second living room thanks to two sliding doors. This central space allows large groups to gather around large sofas, one of which has a spectacular geometric design. We love looking at two rare collections: one featuring sunglasses from the 1960s and 1970s, and the other featuring crackled earthenware from the 1920s.

The triptych ends with a more intimate lounge named after Empress Eugénie in tribute to the imperial couple who played a key role in the resort’s history. It is the ideal place in winter to enjoy a cosy fire in the fireplace.

Garden & swimming pool

As soon as the sun comes up, we set the table and organise a barbecue with the best meat and fish from the Basque Country. At any time of day, a large heated swimming pool invites you to come and cool off.

The aquarium

We designed this place to be a paradise for children. It is a secret place where adults are not allowed. A huge shark from an old merry-go-round stands guard and welcomes everyone who wants to have fun and dream. Everything is in place to ensure you have an unforgettable time: table tennis, board games, fancy dress, toys, magic wheels, traditional games...
